Isn't it ironic...
That the most precious things, are often the ones we neglect?
That contentment, which is found in the simple things, are often complicated by us?
That the more you want something, the more elusive it get?
That the less you want something, the more it appears in your life?
That the opinions of strangers matter more than those close to you?
That you hurt the ones you love the most, and treat outsiders with utmost respect?
That you don't miss your water until the well runs dry?
That you can't look people straight in the eye unless you are trying to lie?
That talk is cheap but sometimes, words can leave such deep scars?
That when people say that the outside shouldn't matter and yet take notice of it?
That only in the deepest, darkest night, can a light shine the brightest?
No?
